Zöe the 13th, Part V, thanks for reading. There’s nothing wrong with a company charging writers for emails with job listings (even if they aren’t exclusive because they just pull them from the internet). What isn’t cool, is scamming people into paying for those emails by creating fake help wanted ads, fake blogs, and fake personas. Also, stealing pictures from real people and pretending they work for you is not okay. I think we agree on that! If they were honest about what they were doing and cut out all the dishonest tactics I would have no issues with them (although it’s also kind of scammy to call yourself a professional organization when you have zero credentials). I’m glad you’re not paying them any more, and especially glad you found a job elsewhere.
