I agree with you about the letter being particularly baffling. I definitely think it’s feminine handwriting, for what that’s worth. But if Rachel wrote it, I feel certain it was under duress. Of course, it could also been written by someone else entirely. I guess that’s why they call it a mystery.

I do hope these families find some sort of closure. 44 years is too long to live without answers.
