Nina Ward, thank you for reading and commenting. You’re right. It could happen to anyone. The scam is that good. The fake personas and blog posts were initially very convincing to many people, including myself. They are still running ads all over Craigslist, unfortunately. I’m just hoping future writers and editors will do a little research and find this article before they’re taken in.
