Hi, Rachel Wayne, every writer has to make their own decision, but personally, I don’t feel a writer should ever work for “exposure.” This is they way I look at it — if the platform can’t pay writers because they are new or under trafficked, the exposure you get will be non-existent. And if the site is well-known enough to make the exposure worth while, they’re taking advantage of writers by refusing to pay them.

If I have a piece I can’t sell I’d rather post it here on Medium than give it away.
