Carina, thank you so much for the warm response! The IAPWE preys on writers because we work alone, which makes us the perfect victims for a scam. What they underestimated is that, despite this, we feel ourselves part of a community. We lift each other up, support each other’s work, share opportunities and warn each other when we spot a scam like this.
